Free Pictures for Kids to Color

Welcome to my blog! Welcome to Spring!

The gang and I are so happy to see the weather warming up and signs of spring appearing all around our town. Daffodils, tulips, robins, and...yes folks...KITTENS...will soon be easy to see.

Christmas and Valentine's Day are long past. Now Easter is coming up. Before Eastertime, I will post a special excerpt from my book, The Life and Times of Mister, for you to read.

But first... do you or your kids like to color? Here are two coloring sheets just for you. One is the same picture that's on the cover of my book: Mister and the Gang. The other one is of the farm where I was born. Here is what I wrote in my book:

"Living on this huge farm with lots of places to play made it a fun place to be a kitten. With its many animals and two huge pons, one that was full of frongs, I had all the playmates I could ever want."

These sheets will print out on a standard 8.5 x 11 piece of paper on your home printer. To make a work of art that can last even longer, print it out on heavyweight paper, available at any office supply store. You can be an artist too and "color my world"!

Speaking of artists---Melody Lamb is one of my favorite artists (click on her name to visit her ebay store). She does beautiful drawings and paintings of animals, and I saw a picture of a cat on her site that reminded me of someone we both know. Can you guess which picture on her site I like so much?

Be sure to bookmark or do that RSS feed thing so you can get a copy of my Easter Story. Kittens, cats, and even dogs like Smokey like holidays too, you know.
